Birth Rates Declining
Business leaders should be aware of large societal shifts in order to adapt strategies, meet evolving consumer demands, and maintain relevance in a changing market.
The decline of global birthrates could be one of the factors causing a significant societal change today..
An obvious fact (to most people) : overall, people are having less kids.
Not so obvious fact (to some people) : this could be a problem.
One of the obvious things that researchers started to notice over the past few years is the decline in global birth rates. The global fertility rate -- the average number of children born to a woman in her lifetime -- fell from five in 1950 to two in 2021 and is projected to continue falling. It's time for individuals to notice the obvious : living in harmony with nature is good, and nature wants us to make babies! ☀️
